Pot Metal Starburst Brooch with Multicolor Rhinestones, 2" Reborn by Roxy

I love old pot metal brooches set with multicolor stones, so when this came my way I knew what I had to do. This brooch was completely yellow on the front, as if it had been dipped in glue. After a bath in acetone and some work with the brush it is now almost totally bright silver again.

Brooch is 2" across, there is a bell marked on the back, I have not been able to attribute this to a maker.

Safety clasp in good working order, silver tone with some wear and dark spots showing, please see last photo for original condition.

Reborn by Roxy: I have collected costume jewelry since I was a teenager. Sometimes it comes to me with dead and missing stones. After a steep learning curve I decided to try and rescue these pieces and bring them back to their former glory. Often, I am not able to do an original restoration due to lack of vintage parts, hence Reborn by Roxy. These pieces will be clearly marked as reimagined vintage pieces.
