The peacock customer was so pleased with the work that they sent me this enormous starfish next. They are writing a jewelry book and this is for that eventual publication. As such, the restoration had to be faithful to the original.
Everything but the lucite cabochon in the middle was faded and had bad foil damage. Some of the clear stones were nearly black.
With fresh new stones this thing is now popping with sparkle and ready for its closeup!
