Vintage Milk Glass Brooch, Rivet and Swedge Swirl, 2.25" x 1.75

Rivet and swedge was a popular method of making jewelry in the 50s and 60s. It allowed you to join together fanciful shapes and build layers without solder. This brooch is a great example of that craft. And of course because it's milk glass, I love it even more.
