Dainty Milgrain Art Nouveau Brooch with Rhinestone, 1.75" x .75

I just can't get over the detail in the metalwork in this tiny brooch. Fine lacy webs of milgrained silver tone metal wind around each other to frame a single tiny rhinestone at the center. The metal is very thin and lightweight, shows no tarnish or plate wear, I have no idea what it is made of.

Brooch is 1.75" wide x .75" long across

This is an older safety catch that does not close completely, but the pin stays within the c when pinned onto cloth.
