Vintage Topaz and Jonquil Brooch with Gold Tone Leaves, 2 3/8", Reborn by Roxy

I felt this brooch was a good candidate for rehab because of its excellent bones. The majority of the stones were dark and the faux pearls were losing their nacre. The pin was broken and being held on with a twisted sewing pin.
All of the stones with exception fo the large root beer chatons on the bottom layer are new. I removed the root beer stones and cleaned them before remounting. I eschewed the faux pearls for more topaz and topaz aurora borealis rhinestones. The pin has been replaced and now works beautifully.

Reborn by Roxy: I have collected costume jewelry since I was a teenager. Sometimes it comes to me with dead and missing stones. After a steep learning curve I decided to try and rescue these pieces and bring them back to their former glory.
